This article is only relevant for users of the 'Connectr for Employees' version of the platform. Typically used for internal mentoring programmes. If your Connectr platform permits it, you can be both a mentee and a mentor (dual persona).
Registering for the first time
Upon initially registering you will be given the choice between being a mentee, a mentor or both (dual persona). If you select 'Both' you will be prompted to fill out a mentee profile and a mentor profile. You will have slightly different profiles for each role as your goals will differ. As a mentee you can specify what skills you want to develop, as opposed to what skills you can help others with as a mentor.
Adding a Mentee or Mentor role to an existing account
If you have an existing mentee or mentor profile, it is still possible to opt into both without starting all over. Send this request over email to team@connectr.co.uk or use the live chat. Once actioned, you will be able to update both your mentee and mentor profiles.
💡 As a mentee, you will be able to browse all mentors' profiles and chat with anyone you choose. If you are a dual persona, you can use this view to gain inspiration from other mentors' profiles on what to share for yourself.
