'Experience Snapshots' are a great way to give mentees a quick, visual insight into your background and expertise. Think of them as conversation starters being short, snappy highlights that showcase who you are and what you bring to the table. This article will explain how to add, edit, and make the most of your snapshots.
What are 'Experience Snapshots'?
'Experience Snapshots' let you select up to 3 areas of experience that best reflect your professional background. These appear just above your bio on your profile, giving mentees an “at-a-glance” view of your strengths. They’re also interactive as mentees can select a snapshot that interests them to start a conversation directly with you.
'Experience Snapshots' appear on mentor profile cards as shown below.
When a user selects 'View profile' on your profile card, the snapshots are also shown on your profile as shown below. By selecting 'Ask me about this' on each snapshot, a popup box will appear giving the user the option to send you message.
How to add/edit your snapshots
Complete your profile
Before you can set your snapshots, make sure your mentor profile is fully completed.Head to your profile
Once you’re all set up, go to your Profile on Connectr.Select ‘Add an experience snapshot’
You’ll find this option just above your bio. From there, you can choose up to 3 snapshots from the list available.Edit anytime
You can return to this section at any time to update or change your selected snapshots.
📌 If your Connectr platform uses mentor approvals, your profile will need to be approved first before you can access and add Experience Snapshots.
