Finding opportunities
Most companies using Connectr will have a 'Jobs' section available. You can find this option in the menu at the top of the site (or via the hamburger menu button on mobile devices). See the example below 👇
How to apply for an opportunity
From the 'Jobs' page (see screenshot above), you can view available jobs and opportunities like apprenticeships and placements and learn how to apply for them. Some jobs will have an 'Apply' or 'Learn More' button on each job listing, which will take you through to an external application portal.
📌 Application portals are not affiliated with Connectr, so we cannot offer support on how to use these sites. If you get stuck with an application, return to Connectr and consider contacting a company mentor for assistance.
I can't see a 'Jobs' section
There can be a couple of reasons why opportunities aren't available on the Connectr you are using:
The company may not have any vacancies or opportunities available at this time. Many companies post their job openings within a specific time frame and will remove them on the expiry date or if they've received an overwhelming response, so we recommend checking regularly and applying as soon as you can.
'Jobs' might be referred to by another name. Look in the menu for other options, for example, it might be called 'Opportunities' or 'Internships'.
The company is not promoting jobs through Connectr. Check the company's careers page on their website to see if they're advertising there.
For any of the above, we recommend asking one of the company mentors for further details and advice.
💡 Don't forget, mentors are typically existing employees working at the company and are there to help you with questions like these. You can find a list of available mentors via the 'Mentors' section. This feature is entirely free to use, and it does not affect your application.
