Looking for something specific in the Connectr platform? Every search you make gives us insights into what matters most to you. We’re tracking which terms are used and how many results are returned - not to track individuals, but to understand where we might need to improve content coverage. This article walks you through how to search for content so you can quickly find what you need.
How to search for content
You’ll find the 'Search' icon in the top right of the navigation bar when logged into your account.
Once selected, you'll be taken to the 'Search' page (see below) where you can search for topics you are interested in. Simply type in a keyword or topic to get started. The FAQs are also visible on this page.
Below is an example of a 'Search' result after searching for the word 'application'. The platform has delivered 3 results within 'modules' that are related to this word. Each result comes with a dedicated task page, giving you more context about what the content covers. Selecting one of these options takes you to the corresponding page within the modules section.
📌 On some Connectrs, Modules may be referred to by a different name, such as 'Resources'.
What you can search for
Currently, 'Search' brings up relevant content within the modules section and the results you'll see are specific tasks, which are individual pieces of a module.
You may notice that some more advanced features (like suggestions for similar words, filtering by content type, or seeing exactly where your search term appears in the result) aren't available yet but may be introduced in the future.
Tips for using Search effectively
Be specific: Use keywords that match the topic you're interested in.
Check your spelling: The 'Search' function doesn't handle spelling mistakes or synonyms, so please be careful!
Know your role: Some content is personalised. For example, mentor-specific content won’t show up for mentees.
💡 Please note that completed or event-linked tasks won’t appear in your results.
